Version 1.9.2 is Now Available

This version addresses a few small bugs and couple features as well.

It also includes five new languages! These language files are donated by plugin users and are thus not supported by me. If you notice any errors, please let us know in the support forums and we’ll try to get it fixed.

1.9.2 Changelog

  • fixed error for adding widgets after ReciPress taxononmy widgets
  • fixed Quick Edit error of removing hasRecipe
  • fixed recipress_recent count
  • made the_recipe() filterable
  • removed all HTML from recipress_recipe
  • added shortcode [recipress_recent]
  • updated English language file
  • added new translations: French, Japanese, Slovenian, Hungarian, & Italian

  1. Tammy, Fist of all I must say its good to see an update. I agree with the pre sale you must get paid for your hard work. Im sure that many of us would be willing to pay asap to get a pro version out for our uses. As for features I think the front end submission, printable/email able recipes, Advanced Search are the most important. Cant wait to see pro in action. please contact me directly if you start pre pro sale sooner than later.

  2. I would be pleased to make a Danish translation if you are interested.

  3. Thanks fort he update! It’s not mentioned in the changelog, but I also noticed you added rich snippet photo support in output.php. Thanks for that! I’m assuming the quickedit removing hasRecipe bug was related to the scheduling removing hasRecipe bug, so I’m going to test that out today and will let you know how it goes.

  4. Hello!

I have ReciPress latest version before 1.9.2 but I have modified the core to satisfy my needs (I used it on a different perspective). I need to know, if possible, how did you solved this problem (fixed Quick Edit error of removing hasRecipe) because now I cannot update anymore.

    Thanks in advance.

    • Just so you know, I can’t support modified versions of the plugin.

The changes are in meta_box.php after line 306. compare yours with the latest to see the updates.

      • Yeah, I know and I assume the risk. I needed specific modifications of the plugin. But hey, thanks a lot for the information. I’m very grateful.

This summer probably I will try to update mine to your latest version, but that can be a pain. Thanks again.

        • Pedro,
I’m not sure what kind of changes you made to the plugin, but it might be worth the time for you to take a look at the altest update: /version-updates/recipress-is-ready-for-pro-1-9-3

If you can use the new functionality I’ve added, it would make updating possible for you again.

  5. Of course I will, but I need time that now I don’t have. That’s why in summer I will try to change. Thank you very much and keep going on with the great work.
